Join DC-PZ at the Smithsonian's National Museum of African Art for an exploration of the new exhibition, Visionary: Viewpoints on Africa's Arts. This fascinating exhibition presents "broad thematic connections between artworks across the spectrum of time, place and medium. Visionary aims to get visitors to look with fresh and focused insight and, in so doing, to see works of art--and each other--with new eyes." We will visit the galleries to gain an overview of the exhibition with experts from the Museum's staff and engage in slow looking with Project Zero practitioners. The Museum is located on the National Mall, behind the Smithsonian Castle and steps from the Smithsonian Metro Station.
