Click HERE for more details and registration! Registration is open now until May 7, 2021.

Come learn about two initiatives, born in DC, that bring together maker-centered learning practices and civic agency: Making Across the Curriculum (MAC) and JusticexDesign (JxD). Part of Project Zero’s Agency by Design initiative, MAC and JxD have involved a variety of educators and settings, including traditional public, public charter, independent, and parochial schools.

On Saturday & Sunday, May 15 &16, 2021, join us for an exploration of the pedagogical frameworks and tools that have been developed in these two projects. Agency by Design researchers Edward Clapp and Sarah Sheya will be featured speakers at this virtual conference, with interactive workshops facilitated by participants who have put these ideas into practice in a variety of contexts.

All conference participants will be invited to attend a special virtual exhibition of teacher and student learning featuring educators who have been participating in the two projects. This exhibition will take place on Friday, May 14, from 4:30-5:30 PM on Zoom. The Exhibition will be open to the public as part of the inaugural Remake Learning Days-DMV Festival. CLICK HERE to learn more about the festival.
