Deeper Learning in a Distance Learning World: Spring Workshop 2

Power in Numbers: Using Data to Deepen Understanding Across Content Areas
Elise Heil, Sacred Heart School

Our children are growing up in a world inundated with data. In this workshop, we will explore how one school has experimented with incorporating "Data Talks" across grade levels and content areas to help deepen students' understanding of the complex world we live in. We will explore the lessons learned about how to best facilitate conversations with students around data and reflect on how we can assist students in conducting responsible interpretation of data. By the end of the workshop, we hope all educators and parents will feel empowered to dive into all kinds of data with their learners!
